🛠️ Troubleshooting Steps

1. Menu Settings: After plugging in the external microphone, you must manually navigate to the camera settings menu and switch the "Microphone" setting from "built-in" to "external". The camera cannot auto-detect the external mic.

2. Hardware Isolation: Unplug the external microphone and record a clip using the bare internal camera mic.

   • Internal audio is normal: The external microphone's audio jack, internal cable core, or microphone element has suffered structural degradation.
