This guide targets instances where the camera triggers spontaneous automatic restarts, particularly during high-vibration activities or due to internal firmware discrepancies.
Troubleshooting Steps
Check for Contact Displacement in Riding Environments:
If the automatic restarts occur exclusively during high-vibration activities like cycling or motorcycling, external impacts may be causing the battery contacts to shift momentarily.
Diagnostic Test: Remove the battery and power the camera solely through a USB cable connected to an external power source. Observe if the camera continues to restart during a normal ride.
If the camera works normally, the issue is caused by external vibrations loosening the battery contact points. Consider changing your mounting method to reduce vibration (such as using a chest strap or headband). If you wish to retain your mount, contact support for warranty assistance.
If the camera still restarts, this indicates a defect unique to your unit. Please contact support for warranty assistance. We will record your details and provide assistance as needed during the warranty period.
Check for Firmware Corruption in Normal Environments:
If the camera restarts randomly while stationary or in any normal environment, the core system firmware files might be corrupted.
Solution: Contact customer support to obtain the official firmware download link and manual reinstallation guide. Re-flash the system to restore stability. If the camera still restarts automatically after a successful manual re-flash, we will provide after-sales warranty service under warranty.
