If your AKASO camera's WiFi disconnects/turns off automatically, please check the below troubleshooting guides:
Â
đ± 1. Disable Phone Network Switching Â
- Problem: Phones may prioritize cellular data over weak Wi-Fi signals. Please check if your phone turn on the "Auto-switch to mobile data". Just please turn off the cellular data.
â±ïž 2. Wi-Fi Auto-Timeout Feature
- AKASO cameras automatically disable Wi-Fi after 3-5 minutes of inactivity to save power.
-
If disconnected:
- Turn off your phoneâs Wi-Fi.
- Manually re-enable Wi-Fi in your cameraâs settings menu.
- Reconnect via the AKASO app.
đ 3. Check Battery Level
- Low battery triggers Wi-Fi auto-shutdown.
-
Fix:
- Charge the camera to â„50% battery before using Wi-Fi.
- Use the original AKASO charger for reliable charging.
đ 4. Factory Reset (Last Resort)
- Resets all settings and clears software glitches.
-
How to reset:
- Open camera Settings > System > Reset.
