This is because the iPhone/iPad can automatically recognize when a video with a high frame rate (exceeding 60 frames per second) is being played in an album and will play it in slow motion. In the context of motion camera generated videos, high frame rate videos are often produced to capture fast moving scenes with greater detail. However, the iPhone/iPad's default behavior may not be optimal for playing such videos directly from the album.
If the frame rate is higher than 60 fps, you can attempt the following solutions:
Option 1: Directly tap the video from the iPhone/iPad folder for playback. This may bypass the automatic slow motion recognition that occurs when playing from the album.
Option 2: Drag the video progress bar on the album page and then save the changes. By re editing the video in this way, you may be able to make the video play back to normal. This could potentially reset the video's playback settings, which may have been affected by the high frame rate recognition.
Option 3: Change the player. You can utilize other players apart from the default iOS player. Alternatively, you can use an SD card reader to transfer the file directly to a computer for playback. This provides more flexibility in handling high frame rate videos, as some third party players on the computer may be better equipped to handle such video formats.
