What to do if water gets into the Brave 8/Brave 8 Lite camera?

If you notice water inside your camera during use, stay calm and take immediate rescue measures. The Brave 8/Bave 8 Lite features a naked waterproof design up to 10 meters (33ft), provided all port covers are completely sealed. Never try to power on or charge a water-damaged camera immediately, as this will cause a permanent short circuit on the mainboard.

Phase 1: Emergency Dry-Out Procedure

If your camera has taken on moisture, do not attempt to turn it on repeatedly, as this can cause a short circuit on the mainboard. Follow these steps to dry it out safely:

1. Power Down & Strip Down: Immediately turn off the camera. Open the battery door and USB cover. Remove the battery, MicroSD card, and USB cables. Leave all compartment doors open.
