Please follow the steps below to insert the battery and SD card into your camera.
🔋 Inserting the Battery
Follow these steps to avoid damage:
- Open the battery compartment:
- ▶️ Slide-cover models: Push the cover downward until it unlocks, then slide open.
- ▶️ Flip-cover models: Press the latch and lift the cover upward.

- Insert correctly:
- Align the battery’s gold contacts with the terminals in the compartment.
- Ensure the removable plastic tab faces UP (visible outside the camera).
- Gently push until it clicks into place.
⚠️ Critical Notes:
- NEVER force the battery – reversed insertion can damage pins.
- Keep the plastic tab intact – it’s essential for safe removal.
⚠️ Removing the Battery
- Pull the plastic tab straight out (never yank sideways).

If the tab breaks:
① Apply a drop of strong glue to a toothpick, attach to battery edge, wait 1 min, pull gently.
② Use plastic tweezers – avoid metal tools (risk of short-circuiting). -
STOP if battery is swollen/damaged:
→ Contact AKASO Support immediately with order # and photos. Do not use!
💾 Inserting the SD Card

Check compatibility first:
Card Type Recommended Spec MicroSD Class 10/U3/V30 or higher Capacity varies by model - check manual(All can support 64GB SD card.)
Insert properly:- Match the card’s notch to the slot’s groove (see diagram below).
- Push gently with your nail until it clicks and sits flush.
- First-use essential:
- Power on the camera → Go to Settings > Format SD Card.
