What should I do when problems with the sound of recorded video?
First of all, please make sure that the camera settings/operations cause the sound is small or no sound, please confirm from the following points is the reason for the settings:
①: Make sure that the camera microphone is turned on (check whether the microphone icon is off)
②: Make sure that the camera is set to external microphone mode microphone (some cameras need to be able to adjust the settings of the built-in and external microphone), the camera will not record if you choose to use external microphone mode but do not use an external microphone, then the built-in microphone will not record (if you want better sound effects, you can use an external microphone to increase the effect of radio).
③: Please make sure that the camera's microphone volume is adjusted to the maximum
④: Please make sure that the camera is equipped with the camera recording waterproof shell to affect the effect of the radio (Since the waterproof case is completely closed, when using the waterproof case, the radio effect will be particularly poor).
If you are still not satisfied with the volume after you have eliminated the reasons for the settings, it may be due to the small size of the sports camera, the speakers and microphone are small,
The sound will be very small in the body playback, we recommend that you try to play it on your computer, and you can adjust the volume better when you play it on your computer:
If your PC system is Windows, you can use the Potplayer program to play it
If your PC system is MAC, you can use Elmedia Player program to play it.
If you are still experiencing low volume/no sound when you play the recorded video on your PC, please try the following solutions:
①: Make sure the SD card meets the specification (within the corresponding capacity, U3 grade brand SD card), if the SD card doesn't meet the specification, replace it with another one that meets the specification for testing.
If the SD card meets the specification, please format the SD card (export the content to your PC) and test it again afterwards.
②: Please confirm whether it is a camera problem, you can initialize the camera and then try to record again, or try to connect an external microphone to confirm whether the sound effect is improved.
The above solutions still do not work, please contact the after-sales service to provide the order number, model number and version number of the camera to seek warranty service.
