Brave 7 LE Physical Component Damage Warranty Guide

This guide outlines the troubleshooting procedures and warranty coverages for structural breakages, such as a detached 1/4" tripod thread, a deformed SD card slot, a jammed or snapped battery door, and detached or malfunctioning physical buttons.

Actions & Warranty Policies

1. Bottom 1/4" Thread Hole Broken / SD Card Slot Physical Deformation:

   • If inspection confirms that the slot or tripod thread is loose, stripped, or detached, and shows no signs of violent handling or forced entry, AKASO accepts full responsibility. Provide clear photos of the defect and your order details/invoice to receive a free replacement camera unit.

2. Battery Door or Bay Malfunctions:

   • Battery Door Stuck/Won't Slide Open: This might be caused by latch deformation or applying pressure at an incorrect angle. Review our official demonstration video and apply pressure in the designated direction. If it remains jammed, provide a short clip and your order ID for evaluation.

   • Battery Door End Latch Snapped Off: The camera cannot be repaired piece-by-piece to replace individual doors. A broken latch compromises the camera's dustproof and splashproof capabilities. Provide a photo of the broken latch along with your order details to check warranty status.

   • Detached Metal Pins Inside Battery Compartment: Severed pin contacts prevent power delivery. Please provide a clear, front-facing photo of the compromised contact points inside the battery compartment along with your order ID for warranty verification.

3. Button Damage/Malfunctions:

   • Button Completely Detached or Unresponsive to All Clicks: Physical buttons cannot be repaired piece-by-piece. Please send a photo of the detached button along with your order number for a whole-unit warranty replacement.

   • Short Press Works, Long Press Fails: This indicates the physical switch is intact, but the system firmware might be locked up. Attempt a factory reset first. If unresolved, contact support for a firmware upgrade file; if this still fails, a replacement will be issued.
