The initial tight and difficult pressing feel of the Brave 7LE camera buttons is not a product quality defect; the core reason lies in the camera's waterproof and sealing design. To ensure the camera's professional waterproof performance and prevent moisture, dust and other impurities from seeping into the camera body through the button gaps and damaging internal components, the surface of the camera buttons is covered with an integrated waterproof sealing film. This waterproof film and the button sealing layer adopt a high-density bonding process and are in a tightly bonded state when leaving the factory. This design will directly increase the damping when the button is pressed, resulting in a "hard to press" feel, which is a necessary design consideration to ensure the camera's waterproof performance.
With the user's daily normal use, after repeated pressing and running-in of the buttons, the originally tightly bonded waterproof sealing film and button structure will gradually adapt and slightly relax, the damping when the button is pressed will gradually decrease, the hand feel will slowly become smooth and easy to press, and the pressing difficulty will be significantly reduced. The entire hand feel change process does not require additional operations, only normal use is needed, and this change will not affect the camera's waterproof performance. The waterproof sealing film can still effectively play a sealing role to protect the safety of internal components of the camera body.
