This guide will walk you through the steps to connect your AKASO Brave 4 camera to your smartphone using the AKASO GO app for remote control, live preview, and file transfer.

Important Note: For a successful connection, please allow the AKASO GO app to access your Location (GPS) and Local Network when prompted by your phone. This is a common requirement for apps that communicate with wireless devices.
Step 1: Enable Wi-Fi on Your AKASO Brave 4
- Turn on your camera and ensure you are on the preview screen.
- Press and hold the OK Button for 2-3 seconds.
- The camera will enter Wi-Fi mode. The Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2: Connect Your Phone to the Camera's Wi-Fi
- Go to your smartphone's Settings menu.
- Tap on Wi-Fi and search for available networks.
- Select the Wi-Fi network named
AKASO-Brave 4-C1-****from the list. - When prompted, enter the password:
1234567890. - Tap Connect. Your phone is now connected directly to the camera.
Step 3: Connect within the AKASO GO App
- Open the AKASO GO app on your phone.
- Tap the "Device" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- The app will automatically search for available devices. From the list, select "Brave4".
- The app will now establish a connection. Once connected, you will see a live view from your camera on your phone.
