How to connect to Remote Control with Brave 8? – AKASO Support Customer Portal

You can use the remote to control the camera to take photos, take videos, and stop videos.

Please confirm the remote battery is in full condition;
Please follow the instructions to correctly pair the camera and remote control:
A: Turn on the remote.
B: Open the remote control in the camera's settings, then press and hold the remote control "shutter" and "mode switch button" until the red and blue lights stop flashing, then the remote control is successfully linked.
The remote can be used up to 10 meters away in optimal conditions.
The remote is splashproof only, not waterproof.
For Brave 8, one remote can control some cameras at the same time.

How to use it?

Remote Power on/of

Power on	Off	Press the Power button	Press the Power button to turn on the remote. The red and blue indicators will be flashing quickly
Pair	Pairing	Press Set and Record buttons	1. When the camera is turned on, swipe down to enter the quick menu, tap "Preferences" to find the "Remote" option, and tap on it to enable the remote feature. 2. Long press the remote’s Record and Set buttons till its screen displays the date. The two indicators will black out. Then the remote is successfully connected to your camera. Warm tip: The remote will be connected to the camera automatically in your second use.
Power off	On	Press the Power button	Press the Power button again to turn off the remote control.
