Before You Start
- Download and install the AKASO GO app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Or you can download the APP from here: https://akasotech.com/downloads
- Ensure your camera’s battery has sufficient charge.
Here is a help center article on how to connect your Brave 7 to your smartphone via Wi-Fi, based on the user manual.
Step-by-Step Connection Guide

- Power on your camera.
- On the preview screen, swipe down to open the quick menu.
- Tap the Wi-Fi icon to turn on Wi-Fi.
- The camera will enter Wi-Fi mode and display the Wi-Fi SSID (network name) and password. The default password is
1234567890.
2. Connect Your Smartphone to the Camera’s Wi-Fi
- Open your phone’s Settings and go to the Wi-Fi menu.
- Find the Wi-Fi network with the SSID displayed on your camera (e.g.,
AKASO-Brave7-XXXX) and tap it. - Enter the password

- Tap Device at the bottom, then tap Add Device in the upper left corner.

Troubleshooting Tips
- Cannot find the Wi-Fi network? Make sure the Wi-Fi icon is displayed on your camera’s screen. If not, repeat Step 1. Tap “Research” in the app if the network does not appear.
- App fails to connect? Confirm your phone is connected to the camera’s Wi-Fi network and not another network.
- Unable to download photos/videos to iPhone? Go to your phone’s Settings → Privacy → Photos, find AKASO GO, and select All Photos.
- Do not interrupt the download process: Avoid altering Wi-Fi settings or closing the app while transferring files.
