1. How many batteries are included?
- Standard Kit: 2 batteries
- Creator Combo: 3 batteries
Charger Specifications (Only Creator Combo have the charge case )
- Input: DC 5V
- Full charge time: ≈100 minutes (reference only)
- Charging Hub supports simultaneous charging for up to 3 batteries.
- Connect the hub to a power source via USB-C cable.
- Indicator during charging:
- Flashing green: Charging in progress
- Solid green: Fully charged
- Tip: Check battery level even when the hub isn’t connected to power.
Battery Level Indicators
Status | Battery Level |
---|---|
Red (Flashing) | Below 20% |
Red (Solid) | 20% – 49% |
Green (Flashing) | 50% – 99% |
Green (Solid) | Fully charged |
Important Notes:
- The hub features overheat protection. Charging pauses automatically if batteries overheat (indicator turns solid red). Resumes when batteries cool.
- Avoid inserting hot batteries immediately after prolonged use. High temperatures may trigger protection mode, causing charging failure.

Maximizing Battery Life
- Fully charge the battery before first use.
- Enable screen saver or use lower resolution/frame rate.
- Charge batteries fully before storage.
- Replace batteries annually for optimal performance.
Power-Saving Tips:
- Enable Auto Power Off and Quick Capture.
- Use an external USB power source during operation.
Safety & Handling
Precautions:
⚠️ Use only AKASO-brand batteries and cables.
⚠️ High-resolution/frame-rate recording in warm environments increases power consumption and heat.
⚠️ Unstable network connections (via AKASO app) may cause overheating and faster drain.
⚠️ If the camera overheats:
- Let it cool before use.
- Record at lower resolutions/frame rates.
- Use power-saving features.
Storage Guidelines:
- Maintain 50-60% charge for long-term storage. Recharge every 3 months; discharge every 6 months.
- Never store with metal objects (coins, keys, etc.) to prevent short circuits/fire.
- Keep in a dry place. Avoid physical damage from crushing/impact.
- Avoid extreme temperatures:
- High heat (e.g., direct sunlight) causes malfunction/reduced lifespan.
- Cold environments shorten battery life.
- Keep away from strong static/magnetic fields (damages safety circuits).
- Never dry with external heat sources (hair dryer, microwave). Liquid damage voids warranty.
Critical Warnings:
❌ STOP USE immediately if the battery:
- Emits odor, overheats, discolors, deforms, or behaves abnormally.
- Remove from device/charger regardless of usage state.
❌ Isolate used terminals to prevent hazards.
❌ Never dispose in fire – risk of explosion.
