How To Clean The Camera Lens

Breathing gently on the lens to fog it up and then wiping with a gentle cloth is the most effective way to clean the lens. You can also use water with a microfiber towel to get a bit more aggressive with cleaning if needed.

We recommend against using a cleaning solution. If you use a cleaning solution, you run the risk of getting fluid into the lens system and it can take a very long time for the fluid to evaporate out.  If there is any gap at all, around the lens/barrel interface, capillary pressure will suck fluid around the edge of the lens.
