What should I do if my remote control doesn't work?
It's recommended that you try the following troubleshooting：
Two-button remote control：
①：Please check if the indicator light turns on. If the light turns off or both of the two lights turn on, please replace a new remote battery of standard CR2032 to reconnect. If the remote need to charge, please fully charge.
②： If the light turns on normally but you can not use it, please provide the number on the back of the remote and the camera version number, we will send you the corresponding firmware update instructions accordingly.
③：If there is still no light on, you may need to replace the remote.
Three-button remote control:
①：Make sure the remote control is fully charged.
②：Please follow the instructions to correctly pair the camera and remote control:
step1：Turn on the remote.
step2：Open the remote control in the camera's settings, then press and hold the remote control "shutter" and "mode switch button"， until the red and blue lights stop flashing, then the remote control is successfully linked.

This should be in the downloadable manual. The only reason I found it is because the EK7000 was bought mainly for snorkeling and skuba. Your documentation/video for these purposes is pitifully poor. If it's advertised to be waterproof to 98' document how to to use it in those conditions!!!!
