It there the option to turn off the OSD on the HDMI output?
Regarding your problem, there is no way to disable the overlay from the camera screen when you connect the HDMI cable to your TV.
The settings and menu structure of the cam will still show on your TV.
I do apologize it does appear that we currently have no camera's in production right now that gives a clean output.
