How to connect the camera WiFi?
To serve better for you, could you please follow the instructions below to check?
1. Please download the correct APP on the phone first.
2. Turn on the camera, click the wifi icon, or long-press the button (refer to the user manual) to turn on Wifi. The Wifi name and password will be shown on the camera screen.
2. Enter the password in the WiFi setting to connect the camera wifi.
3. Enter the app and add your camera model.
4. Your camera will connect to the app.
Sometimes when AKASO is updating a new APP (IOS or Android operating system release a new version), it would show only a temporary disconnection. After the update is completed, a new APP will be available for use.
When the above case happened, definitely AKASO will take urgent action to get APP back to normal.
Why the WiFi disconnects automatically?
Please kindly make a check by the following troubleshooting:
1. If the smart network is available on your cellphone, the hotspot that does not support internet surfing will inform you to switch to different hotspots. But please do not switch.
2. The WiFi will disconnect if you do not use the camera within 3 minutes even though your camera is connected to the WiFi.
Can the Wi-Fi hold a connection underwater?
The Wi-Fi connection may be lost when either device is underwater, but the connection is automatically re-established once both are above water again.
