If your action camera turns off automatically, there can be several reasons behind it. Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can follow to fix the issue:
①:Check Battery Level: Make sure that the battery of your action camera is fully charged or has enough power to run. If the battery level is low, charge it completely and then try turning on the camera.
②:Reset Camera Settings: Try resetting the camera settings to default. This can help in fixing any software-related issues. Consult your camera manual for instructions on how to reset the settings.
③:Check your SD card: Sometimes, a faulty or corrupted memory card can cause the camera to turn off automatically. Remove the memory card from the camera and try turning on the camera without it. If the camera works fine, then the problem is with the memory card. Replace the card with a new one.
④:Check your settings: Please check the default power saving mode if turned on, if you turn on, the camera will turn off automatically in 3 minutes if you don't operate it.If the loop recording is not enabled: The camera stops recording when the SD card is full, and turns off in 3mins if you do not operate it.
⑤:Clean Battery pin Contacts: The battery contacts inside the camera may get dirty or corroded over time. Clean them using a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. This can improve the connection between the battery and the camera.
